Corporate tax, decided during the year.
Your T2 prepared and planned for by a chartered accountant who is across your numbers all year, so the tax position is settled before the year closes rather than discovered months after it.

The return is the last step, not the whole job.
Corporate returns prepared and filed on time, with the planning that decides the outcome done while the year is still open. Instalments, remuneration mix, and the timing of purchases and distributions are reviewed as the year runs, not reconstructed afterwards.
Quoted at a fixed fee, with the scope agreed before the work starts.
Everything in the engagement.
T2 and GIFI schedules
Schedules 100, 125 and 141 reconciled to your books, with Schedule 50 shareholder continuity kept current.
Instalment planning
Instalments calculated and scheduled so you are not funding a surprise balance after year-end.
Salary and dividend mix
Reviewed against the small business deduction and your personal position, before the money moves.
Correspondence handled
Notices, reviews and audit queries dealt with directly, including passive income affecting your deduction.
Where this usually applies.
Incorporated owner-managers
One corporation, a small team, and a year-end that has been arriving as a surprise.
Growing corporations
Revenue moving fast enough that the tax position changes during the year, not just at the end of it.
Corporations with passive investments
Retained earnings invested in the company, where the small business deduction is at risk.
Three steps, no surprises.
Review the year to date
We look at your books, last year’s return and where the numbers are heading.
Decide the position
Remuneration, instalments and timing are agreed while the year is still open.
File and confirm
The T2 is prepared, filed and reconciled, and you get a copy of what was claimed and why.
The ones we get asked most.
When is a corporate tax return due in Canada?
A T2 is due six months after your fiscal year end. Any balance owing is due two or three months after year end depending on the corporation, so the payment deadline usually arrives before the filing deadline.
Do I need a CPA to file corporate taxes in Canada?
No. The CRA does not require a CPA to file a T2. The reason to use one is planning: the return records decisions that were made months earlier, and most of the money is saved or lost before the return is prepared.
Can I file my own corporate tax return?
You can. The risk is not the arithmetic, it is missing the small business deduction grind, capital cost allowance timing, or a shareholder loan that becomes taxable income.
What happens if a T2 is filed late?
The CRA charges a penalty on the balance owing plus interest, and repeat late filing increases the penalty. A nil return filed late can still attract a penalty.
How much does corporate tax filing cost?
Every engagement here is quoted at a fixed fee with the scope agreed before the work starts, so the number is known before you commit.
